Ode to the sun glaring off the snow
engulfing its surroundings with a yellow glow
Serene and comforting , yet unique rays
straining through the barrier warming
my physique
Painted like a picture , colors of a silk
rainbow is an untouched mixture .

Green eyes melting away
back to a place of pain and decay
rotting ,
dying from the inside out
bound within a wall of perfection
flesh eating emotions covered by
monotone words , with no correction
holding back , keeping it in ,
fighting it as if it were a sin
the glare of imperfection shines ,
from the mirror within .

kissing life
its out the door
gone for good
now laying alone
if you could
would you come home?
Will we last
will we hold
or under pressure
will we fold
hope for the good
out smart the worst
fight for everything
that our love is worth
