DoorKing's model 1812 telephone intercom system is a unique communication system that allows a homeowner to utilize their telephone(s) as an intercom to speak to a front walk gate or entry driveway gate, without the need of installing an additional central office phone line. When a visitor places a call by pushing the "Call" button, the residents phone(s) will ring with a distinctive double ring. Once communication is established, the resident can grant access to either the walk or drive gates by pressing "9" or "5" on their telephone, or simply hang up to deny access. The call waiting feature assures that incoming phone call are not missed. The 1812 telephone intercom system has a built in time clock that allows the home owner to program entry code time zones, create "flash" codes which work on a single day only, times for the gate to activate the automatic gate opener, and times to restrict call to the house. Up to three additional phone numbers can be programmed in the unit. Often one or more of these numbers can be your Cell Phone, allowing you to answer your Gate, Via your Vehicle and Grant or Deny access to you property. A great way to keep in touch with your guest. The microprocessor control boards full duplex circuitry for crystal clear two way voice communication. Another feature is a full intercom function that at any time can be turned on at your phone(s) and allow you to talk as well as listen to anyone at or near your Gate. Also you can dial in a command to keep the Gate in and open position for and indefinite time and close it at will. Many more features that will make owning and Automated Gate system a Pleasure.

APPLICATIONS: The model 1812 is a unique telephone intercom system that allows homeowners to use their telephone as an intercom to speak to a guest at a front door or gate without the necessity to pay for an additional telephone line at their home. With its "intercom mode" programming feature, the 1812 can also be connected to a PBX or KSU type system, making it ideal for small businesses to control access through a single door or gate. Visitors are easily identified by voice communication and can be granted or denied access directly from a touch-tone telephone. The 1812 is available in both surface and flush mount designs and includes the DKS auto-programming software for Windows, allowing homeowners to program the system right from their home computer.
